Khmer typing practice: twenty-seven lessons in four levels, and a lesson built from your own mistakes

The free Khmer typing tutor has nearly tripled in size, and looks and feels different. Lessons now run in four levels — the keys, words, whole text, and a challenge — with every vowel, every subscript pair, the signs, dates and times, punctuation, everyday phrases and your own pasted text. It watches which keys you miss and builds a lesson from them. The keyboard is bigger and clearer, with larger Khmer on the keys that grows when you point at it, and a Light, Dark and Auto colour mode. Every word in every lesson is checked against a Khmer dictionary, and you can now rate any free tool and tell us what you would like next.

    • Four levels: the keys, words, text, challenge — twenty-seven lessons, up from ten
    • New: every vowel on ក, the independent vowels, every row with Shift, the signs on the number row, subscript pairs, signs and marks, counting, people and family, everyday phrases, proverbs, dates and times, punctuation, a two-minute sprint and a perfect line that one mistake ends
    • Paste your own text — homework, a letter, a page for work — and practise exactly that
    • "My weak keys": the keys you miss most, drilled on ក and inside real words; they are ringed on the chart and listed in your record
    • A bigger, clearer keyboard: larger Khmer on every key, magnified when you point at it or when it is the next to press
    • Light, Dark and Auto colour mode, with a backlit night keyboard
    • A 3D keyboard with a Khmer kbach frieze, a combo counter, stars for every lesson, confetti on a new best, and optional key sounds
    • Rate any free tool with stars and tell us what you would like next — one tap, anonymous, from the badge on the tool's page
    • The AltGr characters (Option on a Mac) can now be typed from the keyboard, and the hint names the right key
    • Every drill word is dictionary-checked on every change to the site; the sentence lesson is correct, complete Khmer
    • Version and update date shown in the tool; the offline file is updated to match — version 2.0.0 on the download page
    • A lesson picker that always fits: previous, next, and the whole level as a numbered list
    • The Mac app and the one-file version now wear the site's blue, with a backlit night keyboard and a white light mode
